Throughout Brian’s professional career, he has worked in the field of intellectual property covering electrical, computing, and business-method technologies. In addition to his work with Adapt IP Ventures, Brian consulted AI Patents, an early-stage, semantic search engine company. Prior to Adapt IP Ventures, Brian worked for Newell Rubbermaid as an Intellectual Asset Management intern, Landon IP as a Patent Analyst and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner in its Computer Architecture, Software, and Information Security technology center.
Brian graduated with an MBA from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Brian is also a registered patent agent (Reg. No. 63,306) and a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES).
